hello. I’m Jacob.

I design at Google, currently in Tokyo. I helped design and launch the Google Assistant in 2016. Now, I design things for the Google Maps app. Before Google, I designed at Intuit (in Mountain View) and Sano (a startup in San Francisco helping people track and improve their blood sugar levels). 

I write. Short stories and novellas. I read. I make music and zines and comics n stuff.

I’m extra happy when I’m with funny friends, in the mountains, playing tennis / basketball / hockey, or roller blading.

I read Chinese Studies at university.
